PHARRELL’S “i am OTHER” NETWORK

Ok, now THIS looks interesting. Today Pharrell’s new media group “i am OTHER” released it’s first promo video for its launch - featuring 18 year-old Maxine Ashley and 27 year-old Leah Labelle (two new artists he’s currently working with). The group is supposedly new Youtube channel and cultural movement dedicated to Thinkers, Innovators and Outcasts - in short, OTHERS. Can’t wait see more on this!

Oh, editing! One of the most controversial yet quintessential parts of fashion. Ever wonder about the process that went on behind the scenes of those classic pin-up images in the 1940′s and 50′s? ACNE SPRING/SUMMER 2012 CAPSULE COLLECTION

ACNE has recently released their Spring/Summer 2012 capsule collection featuring an interesting all-white design and concept. The 20-piece collection is all womenswear and consists of re-interpretations of classic ACNE pieces from over the years, re-created all in white. I think I’m in love!

CHOLAFIED!

Meet Cholafied: the most weirdest yet strangely appealing site we’ve ever come across. Cholafied is the brain child of Michael Jason Enriquez, LA-raised and current advertising student at the Art Center college of Design in Pasadena.

The site is an abovious homage to Chola gangster style: Sharpied eyebrows, dark lipliner, and the fumes from a can of Aqua Net. The site features a gallery of portraits of some of the most famous and infamous icons of pop culture, everyone from Oprah to Adele to Angelina Jolie’s right leg! Too good!
