Nude and Clothed Plus-Size Models Pose for V Magazine Spread!

THIS IS FANTASTIC! I’m am SO ecstatic to see that the fashion industry is finally letting in the realistic woman!

Will 2010 be the year of the PLUS? (above) You see Marie Claire cover model who went naked and un-Photoshopped on the magazine’s cover.

Plus-size models and their agents are accepting the latest clamor to place larger models in high-fashion editorial spreads! The first appearing in Glamour magazine in November, the second in V magazine’s size issue!. They’re hopeful, but if you’ve been in the business long enough, you’ve seen it all before.

“We’ve seen sparks like this before, but this is the biggest spark,” Jon Ilani said, director of Wilhelmina’s plus-size division.

I personally all for plus-size high fashion! In fact, why call it plus-size… it’s obvious that that’s becoming the normal American woman.

To all the girls insecure about there weight out there: Life is way too short for you to care what other people think of you. I know, i know! We will ALWAYS care, but don’t let it affect you to the point where you don’t like your body. If you’re experiencing health issues, and are severely overweight.. thats a medical condition, and you can get help. If you’re normally just a ‘bigger’ girl, don’t fret. You are beautiful.. and it might take a little while for you to realize that, but there is nobody on this Earth like you, so be yourself and be CONFIDENT.
