DAMIEN HIRST x THE ROW $55,000 BACKPACKS

Contemporary British artist Damien Hirst has teamed up with Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen’s ready-to-wear label The Row to produce a limited edition range of customized, patent leather backpacks which represent the artist’s personal tastes as well as the wider image of the brand. 

The collection was created in a limited edition of 12 bags signed by the artist that retail at online design store Just One Eye for a cool $55,000 (with a portion of each sale going to UNICEF). Gulp. Video after the jump:
