Art: Andy Warhol Campbell’s Soup Can Exhibition

A new exhibition at LA’s MOCA will see thirty-two of Andy Warhol’s emblematic Campbell’s soup can paintings go on display for one month. The show marks the 49th anniversary of the original exhibition of the paintings at Ferus Gallery in Los Angeles - Warhol’s first ever solo exhibition - and will pay tribute to the significant role the gallery played in the development of the city’s art scene.

The exhibition will run from 9 July though 7 September, 2011.
