Following an array of remix pickings from Beyoncé’s self-titled album, which was released as a complete surprise just last month, Azealia Banks and Busta Rhymes have now stepped up to the plate with a remix of their own.
MUSIC: Childish Gambino & Azealia Banks - II. Earth The Oldest Computer (The Last Night)
Childish Gambino has been non-stop in the studio making hits for us with his latest studio album Because The Internet.
His latest track with lended vocals by Azealia Banks titled “II. Earth: The Oldest Computer (The Last Night)” is spastic, reverberating, high-energy, and a super addictive listen:
MUSIC: Azealia Banks - “Count Contessa”
Apparently Harlem raptress Azealia Banks is working on not one but two albums at once, with much talk still surrounding the ongoing delay of the female act’s debut LP, Broke With Expensive Taste.
But with the much-anticipated debut seemingly on its way, this week Banks drops off a new tune that is to be featured on the followup, Fantasea II: The Second Wave. “Count Contessa” is an undeniably fun record, featuring multiple flows from the young lyricist. Stream after the jump:
FASHION: JOGG Jeans by Diesel
WeTheUrban cover star and artistic director for iconic Italian fashion label DIESEL, Nicola Formichetti, describes their new hybrid Jogg Jeans as a “crossbreed between jeans and activewear”. We dig it. These aren’t just your typical skinnies with added lycra, jeans actually designed to run, leap, jump and dance.
DIESEL also injected some serious cool into the Jogg Jeans campaign by pairing up Azealia Banks with street dancers and (incredibly flexible) breakdancers. Peep the video after the jump:
MUSIC: Azealia Banks ft. Pharrell - “ATM Jam”
Last weekend at Glastonbury, our favorite rude bitch Azealia Banks performed her new single “ATM Jam” and now the track finally made it to radio! The Pharrell-assisted song is truly a jam and definitely can be a contender for song of the summer! Check it out after the jump:
