Looks like Starbucks is jumping on the art bandwagon! Starbucks have teamed up with Japanese designer, musician and producer Hiroshi Fujiwara to create a two-story concept store in Tokyo called “b-side”. The so called “godfather of Harijuku” created a Starbucks unlike any other, with a unique layout and large wraparound windows, allowing for plenty of natural light.
The shop also features a large neon sign reading “Careful, the beverage you’re about to enjoy is extremely hot” - a playful reference to the words appearing on Starbucks cups worldwide. Closer look after the jump:

He is also interested in compelling infrastructure dominated the public space. In the space of the KCO he exhibited paintings, photographs and objects where he makes clear statements about the interaction between form and function. Photo’s after the jump:

Architectural genius, Janjaap Ruijssenaars, has spent the last seven years creating the world’s most expensive platform bed, with a magnetic support system; tethered to the ground, it won’t float away during pillow fights. You simply have to see it to believe it! Video and photos after the jump:

The Acoustable Coffee Table Sound System a TEAC sound system within that provides 360 degrees of audio playback. By either USB or optional WiFi, your laptop, your iPod and more can all connect to this table for an amplified audio experience that is much better than your device’s built-in speakers. The stylish shape and material of this table are designed for acoustics, but the resulting look is most certainly easy on the eyes. Even with the speakers off, this table is a living room centerpiece on appearance alone. More after the click
