WeTheUrban T-Shirt Design Contest!

Calling all graphic designers! Want your work to be seen by an audience of thousands? Want your design sold as one of the first shirts in the grand opening WeTheUrban’s clothing store? Well this contest is for you! We want you to come up with a design for one of our new shirts!

Rules & Guidelines - 

  • This must be YOUR own work! If you would like to include the WeTheUrban logo in your design, just email me at wetheurban@gmail.com and I will happily send it over.
  • The design must be in black and white (or grey and white)
  • You can send up to 2 designs
  • All designs must somehow incorporate what WeTheUrban stands for and accurately portray the aesthetic of WeTheUrban.
  • All submissions can be sent to wetheurban@gmail.com in .jpg format. Please also include your name and best way to contact you.
  • ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE SENT IN NO LATER THAN SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 5TH!

Winners -

  • I will choose my top 3 favorite designs and have a poll for WeTheUrban readers to vote on their favorite shirt design.
  • If you are one of the 3, you will receive the winning shirt (free) and your blogs link in our blogroll.
  • The first place designer will receive his/her design sold in our store, placed on our website, along with full artist accreditation.

    The ‘Museum Of The Moving Image’ by Brooklyn-based practice Leeser Architecture has opened its doors to the public in Astoria, New York. Consisting of a complete redesign of the structure and a three-storey and courtyard addition, the 97,700 square foot project features a number of new program spaces including a 264-seat theater, 68-seat screen room, video screening amphitheater and a gallery.     Can you say dream pad?! The Sapphire Gallery is a residential gallery addition to a private residente in Los Angeles, California. It is designed to display a private collection of contemporary art while also providing for a home office with views to the sorrounding hills.

    The Salvador Dali Museum of St. Petersburg Florida has officially opened the doors of this stunning new building on the waters of the Tampa Bay.  The new museum has replaced another that housed a massive collection of Dali’s works for nearly 30 years, but was not itself indicative of the artist’s wild imagination.

    The Tattoo house is Andrew Maynard’s latest built project. The building is a small extension to an existing 3 bedroom house in Fitzroy North, Victoria. It features a interesting way to filter light and views. The tattoo was conceived as a continuation of the tree graphic around the simple white box- to soften the impact of this modern addition to a resolutely 19th-century neighbourhood.
