Jawbreaking What?!

Jawbreaking Jewelry! Yes, yes, yes.. we know we have written about this awesome jewelry designer/my good friends a time or two before… but we just can’t help ourselves!

Aly silverio is a young jewelry designer who started custom making and designing jewelry out of glazed/baked polymer clay at the age of 15. Her initial intent was to just earn a few bucks on the side for the summer, but her business soon grew and grew and is a pretty large booming business for someone of her age. (everything is 10000000000% made only by Aly, so no 2 items are alike)

Her winter line was just released last week! Aly has over 80 necklaces, and not to mention phone charms, rings, and soon even t-shirts on sale as well.

I personally own her ‘camera’ necklace (I am VERYY pleased with it).

DIY CLOTHING!

You can create your own Chanel shirt at home and its kinda really easy!

Materials: Any white shirt, Chanel logo (download: here), black Sharpie, scissors, newspaper, painters tape, small paintbrush and black acrylic paint.

Step 1: Print out the logo on paper, cut out the black part of the logo so you’ll be left with the negative image. Tape the paper on your white t-shirt.

Step 3: With your black acrylic paint, carefully paint the inside of the logo. Try not to use a lot of water as you don’t want to dilute the ink.

Its not the real thing…and its no suppose to be! Make it your own have fun with it.

Savage Colors Clothing

Marissa Berman(above) is the founder of Savage Colors Clothing (SCC)

She started this clothing line as a little fun project back in 2008 when she was just 16 years old. While attending summer camp one summer, she was making tie die shirts. She enjoyed it so much that it turned into an actual clothing line with her own designs! Everything is 100% created by her:designs, labels, packaging, photography, website, advertising and everything else!

All of her clothing and accessories express the message of peace and love. Two things the World needs A LOT of right now! Her clothing has now been sold in over 7 retail stores and her stuff has been seen with the Cyrus family!

Marissa got the very lucky opportunity to attend the 2009 AMA’s due to her work! Look out for her, she’ll be big one day!
