New York Fashion Week is in its fourth day and here is a little something to remind us where it all began. “The Tents” is an interesting documentary directed by James Belzer and Marcus Jones cataloguing the birth of Fashion Week and its expansion using intimatie interviews with industry leaders such as Tommy Hilfiger, Donna Karan, Betsey Johnson, Nina Garcia, Carolina Herrera, and more. EDUN SPRING/SUMMER 2012 “BEAUTIFUL REBEL” CAMPAIGN

Kind of obsessed. How beautiful is this?! Gorgeously colored and patterned wild butterflies take center stage in Edun’s debut spring/summer 2012 ‘Beautiful Rebels’ ad campaign brought to life by photographer Ryan McGinely.

Back in 2005, Bono and his wife, Ali Hewson, founded the Edun line to bring awareness to trade in Africa and beyond. After various appearances in Louis Vuitton campaigns, the line has finally taken a visual life of its own. Check out the accompanying fashion film (above).
