Milan Fashion Week has officially kicked off and Gucci is first in line! Creative Director @ Gucci, Frida Giannini, presented her vision of Twenties-inspired flapper dresses along with gold and black trimmings, feather handbags and dinner jackets. “I wanted to explore an optical side of feminine beauty by creating a sculptural glamour for the Gucci woman,” said Frida. “It’s a fusion of elements of our DNA, starting with the history of design and photography. It’s the opulence of the era of hedonism,”. Extremely elegant yet still seductive. I like! I’ll give Gucci an 8/10 this season.

Gucci to Release 3D Glasses

We’ve seen our share of 3D glasses hit the market, but now high-end fashion company Gucci will be releasing their own 3D glasses . You can expect them around December for $225.
Shaped like aviators, Gucci’s 3D glasses are made from plastic, but offer “optically correct 6-base curved lenses with circular polarized technology” — okay whatever that means. Gucci says its 3D glasses will be compatible with Real D — so viewing Avatar 2 & 3 will work just fine.
In addition to the classy design and obvious branding, the 3D glasses feature a mirror coating that allows wearers to look at themselves in a mirror without distortion.”. Would YOU pay up 225 bucks to sport these shades?
