Rising Ukraine talent Yasya Minochkina presents her Spring/Summer 2014 lookbook in which the pieces are sophisticated and minimalistic, a bit sporty and edgy.
LFW: Meadham Kirchhoff Spring/Summer 2014
The Meadham Kirchoff Spring 2014 show was nothing short of incredible. Named ‘Ante Dominai’ (a typo for ‘Ante Domini’ – “the time before God”), the collection brought together sartorial tropes from different historical periods to engender a celebration of fashion and femininity.
LFW: KTZ Spring/Summer 2014
KTZ offered some great pieces this season: graphic monochrome contrasted with diaphanous, billowing outerwear, and a selection of geometric floral prints reminiscent of Islamic mosaics.
LFW: Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2014
Burberry has revealed its spring/summer 2014 collection at the start of the London Fashion Week, but those in the audience who paid close attention would have noticed something very different from previous years.
As the models, including Cara Delevingne, walked down the long catwalk in front of celebrities like Harry Styles, Sienna Miller, Paloma Faith and others, they were being filmed not by the latest 4K camera, or in 3D, but by the new still-to-be-released iPhone 5S.
LFW: Erdem Spring/Summer 2014
Erdem's latest collection is a doozy! Accompanied by live music on cello and grand piano, the collection opened with deconstructed monochrome looks which at first glance seemed under-par for the Canadian born designer, however, closer inspection revealed just how special Erdem's offerings for SS14 were.
MENSWEAR: Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2014
Oh, Christopher Bailey, how you never disappoint! Burberry Prorsum's Spring 2014 men's collection inspired by “writers and painters” — in this case, English painter, David Hockney, and writer Alan Bennett.
Working mostly with cotton, linen, silk and cashmere, the designer showed off plenty of primary colors, Hockney-like glasses, brightly-hued raincoats and suede shoes!
MENSWEAR: Christopher Kane Spring/Summer 2014
London Collections: Men has officially begun (and with a huge bang)! This Spring/Summer 2014 season was all about fit, print, and color for Christopher Kane.
Monochromatic with explosions of either dizzying graphical 3D lines or neon colors or both, Christopher Kane made us love every piece above! More after the jump:
