FRANKIE MORELLO FALL/WINTER 2012.13

This Fall 2012 menswear season is really turning it out! Frankie Morello’s flamboyant collection is no exception to this. It was filled with studs, both in choice of models and on the clothing — starting off with a beautifully studded blazer on model Jacob Coupe and soon transitioning into an Indian inspired wardrobe filled with draped silks, prints, and fringe. In-between, there were well cut suits in loud prints and colors, some paired with studded accessories. A+

BURBERRY PRORSUM FALL/WINTER 2012.13

The Milan menswear shows have officially started and kicked off with a bang! First, with Burberry. Designer, Christopher Bailey, stays true to the brands classic, Eglish history while simultaneously updating it with contemporary silhouettes and beautiful contrasting detailing. Minimal color blocking, fox prints, double-breasted suit jackets, and tapered slim trousers galore! Peep footage of the full show (above)!

Gianfranco Ferré Spring/Summer 2012 | Milan Fashion Week

Back in April, Gianfranco Ferré designer duo Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi were asked to leave the brand and were replaced with Stefano Citron and Federico Piaggi, who designed the Gianfranco Ferré Spring 2012 collection. Therefore, it was more than a little symbolic that the Spring collection was crisp, clean and featured a lot of all white clothing. In more ways than one, the fashion house is starting with a clean slate. Simplicity at it’s absolute best! Fierce! 

Fendi Spring/Summer 2012 | Milan Fashion Week

“Gucci Gucci Louis Louis Fendi Fendi Prada!” Milan Fashion Week is out of this world! Designer and genius, Karl Lagerfeld, tastefully embedded playful details in the collection such as stripes, cut-out shoulders, and cap sleeves. The colors are mostly muted, but aesthetically pleasing as a whole. Love!
