Sarah Burton has once again done the ever-so theatrical brand, Alexander McQueen, justice. With such huge shoes to fill, she’s sure doing an absolutely amazing job. Her first models stepped out in cream and gold dresses and skirt suits, with ultra-fine pleats and wide waistbands, their head wrapped in lace that veiled the eyes but left the rest of the face exposed. Every ounce of this collection is perfection to the T. Long live McQueen!

CHANEL Spring/Summer 2012 | Paris Fashion Week

What is air?! Currently choking over Karl Lagerfeld’s latest work! The CHANEL S/S 2012 show has to rank as the best quality show (with a live performance by Florence Welche of Florence + the Machine) of all of Paris Fashion Week 2012. The show was an ocean of delights. Props to Karl for not falling back on the overdone modern day mermaid references). Offsetting light, nearly iridescent colors, ruffles, and a tad big of play with transparency were all apart of the collection this year. CHANEL get’s a AAA+!

Oh, wow! Galliano without Galliano? Surprisingly not too bad! The first John Galliano collection under it’s new creative direction definitely stays true to the classic Galliano aesthetic and definitely hasn’t disappointed! Very whimsical and imaginative! Something like this is always a breath of fresh air during the more conservative Paris Fashion week seasons. Love!

Well would you look at that! Kanye’s done a mighty fine job here! But does this collection really live up to the hype it’s gotten? Either way, (even though he was a tad bit late to his own show) Mr. West has just made history! This collection (dedicated to his deceased mother) is a mix of sex, funk, and power: love it! KANYE WEST  PARIS FASHION WEEK SHOW INVITE

Oh the things I’d do to get my hands on one of these! Today the official show invites to the first Kanye West fashion show have been send out. It looks like the collection will be called ‘Dw Kanye West’. At this point we can only assume that ‘Dw’ is a hint as his mother, Donda West, but cannot confirm that at this point. Waiting is so intense! Can tomorrow just hurry up already?!
