Anthony Vaccarella Spring/Summer 2012 | Paris Fashion Week
Sex appeal was obviously an influence for Belgian-Italian designer, Anthony Vaccarella, when designing this collection! This collection dawns some of the highest thigh-splits I have ever seen. Amazing! Besides some tops in sheer snake printed silk, everything was black or navy — and looked short and steamy enough to become the new uniform of an elite army of international party girls. A+!

Fendi Spring/Summer 2012 | Milan Fashion Week
“Gucci Gucci Louis Louis Fendi Fendi Prada!” Milan Fashion Week is out of this world! Designer and genius, Karl Lagerfeld, tastefully embedded playful details in the collection such as stripes, cut-out shoulders, and cap sleeves. The colors are mostly muted, but aesthetically pleasing as a whole. Love!

Can we all just take a moment to drool over the beauty that is the Acne Resort 2012 Collection?! The Swedish brand premiered its Resort S/S 2012 collection in NYC.
Once again, the concept was great: a huge stage studio transformed into a David lynch - inspired surreal room within a room. The place was crowded, 200 guests from the world of fashion, art and architecture, with Garance Dore, Taylor Tomasi Hill, Tom Guiness and Peter Marino among them. Peep the rest of the collection after the jump:

Season: Spring/Summer 2011 - Ready-To-Wear
Website: http://www.maisonmartinmargiela.com
Fashion designer Maison Martin Margiela has come up with some creative outfits for the Spring/Summer 2011 collection. The historic French design house has been designing women’s clothing since 1988 and since then its lines have never lacked creativity or pizzazz.
The idea behind the Maison Martin Margiela Spring/Summer 2011 collection was the message of two-dimensionality. Maison Martin Margiela transformed the models in its runway show into paper dolls. LOVE! More after the click:

Season: Fall/Winter 2011
Designer: Carri Munden
Website: http://www.cassetteplaya.com
Cassette Playa is a clothing line designed by Carri Munden based out of London. Spotted on Hypebeastthis collection definitely makes you look twice. The metallics, patterns and colors just stand out and pull you in. The styling down to the hair, accessories and overall look of this model is extremely unique and unlike most runway shows. I’m not sure if I would classify this as high fashion, but it definitely gives its own unique spin on what we think high fashion should be. Check it out:
