Hot on the heels of officially coming out, MIKA finally releases the visual for “Celebrate” ft. Pharrell Williams in which he just wants the whole to to PARTY!
Directed by BB-Gun and shot in New York, the video opens with the British singer-songwriter sitting in front of a piano, seemingly trying to compose new music, but having trouble in writing the lyrics. After a pile of torn papers, he forgets his frustration and dances among other people in a club. “Celebrate” is the lead single off his upcoming third studio album The Origin of Love which is set for a September 30 release. Pharrell Williams is known for his skills as a rapper, singer, and producer. But with his latest project, the hit maker is tapping into his philanthropic side and putting his creativity to good use!
Pharrell has teamed with the revered Oppenheim Architecture + Design firm to create a youth center in his hometown. The $35 million facility will provide the children of Virginia Beach with a space to get their homework done and so much more. The 30,000-square-foot center will include a digital music lab and spaces to meet with on-site mentors dedicated to their wellbeing and personal development.
The Pharrell Williams Resource Center is slated for completion in 2013. How amazing is this?!
