It's no secret that GOP congressional leadership is dead set on shutting down Planned Parenthood completely. One of their main tactics has been to push legislation misleadingly named “defunding” Planned Parenthood. It's a cruel ploy that would punish women and hit people with low incomes, people living in rural communities, and people of color the hardest.
Planned Parenthood's health centers provide supportive reproductive health care to over 2.4 million people in a year. An estimated one in five women has relied on Planned Parenthood health centers for care in her lifetime.
And it's not just about abortions. If politicians in Congress succeed in “defunding” Planned Parenthood and in shutting down Planned Parenthood health centers, they would most definitely cause a national health disaster. Those millions of Planned Parenthood patients would lose access to the preventive care they’ve relied on — care like cancer screenings, birth control, and STD testing and treatment, including HIV tests.

The main obstacle standing in our way is the normalization of pleasure - and that is a founding mission for us.
